Anssi Laakkonen appointed managing director of Freight One Scandinavia

M.Sc.(Econ.) Anssi Laakkonen, 44, has been appointed managing director of Freight One Scandinavia Oy from 1 July 2012.

Laakkonen has previously worked at EKE Group in a number of positions. During the last six years he has been in charge of EKE Group's railway operations.

Freight One Scandinavia is a joint venture of VR Group and Russian wagon operator PGK specialising in rail logistic between Finland and Russia and the CIS countries.

The office of the company, established in 2009, is in Pasila in Helsinki.
